'Reagan' star Dennis Quaid rallies for Trump in Coachella, California: 'Time to pick a side'

A man was arrested Saturday for carrying a gun near former Pres. Donald Trump's California rally. The Republican presidential nominee was "not in any danger," agencies said.
Vem Miller, 49, was stopped at a checkpoint en route to the Coachella Valley rally. He was carrying a shotgun and multiple passports with different names, and driving an unregistered vehicle.
Miller was taken into custody "without incident," booked for possession of a loaded firearm and a high-capacity magazine, and released after posting bail of $5K.
Although a man was arrested for a number of gun charges, the Secret Service, federal agencies and local law enforcement all did their job in making sure the suspect was nowhere near Trump at the time of the rally. While investigations are ongoing, at least there's no evidence this was a further assassination attempt.
This man turned the media into a frenzy, making them it was a third assassination attempt. Turns out he was just another avid Trump supporter and he just so happened to be carrying firearms in his truck as he always did.
