It shouldn't surprise anyone that Israeli media is doing the biddig of Benjamin Netanyahu. The Prime Minister's entire cabinet just voted to ban Al Jazeera — one of the world's most popular news outlets — from the country because it reports from the Palestinian perspective. As the government continues to broaden its definition of 'incitment against Jews," real journalism will go by the wayside.

While it's fine to criticize newspapers when they're in the wrong, let's not forget that the entire world was against Israel from the second it was attacked on Oct. 7. Even Hadley Freeman has warned about the terrifying rise of antisemitism across the West, particularly in Britain, where protesters were celebrating Hamas after its attack. Netanyahu does not represent most Israelis, and this fact must be remembered as the world continues to deal with the Israel-Gaza issue.
