A teenager was shot and wounded at a school in Southern Stockholm, Sweden, on Wednesday morning.
The victim, a student, was taken to the hospital. The suspect, also a student of the school, was apprehended by police following the shooting.
Police believe that the situation is under control, with no further suspects involved. The school is no longer an active crime scene.
Sweden has had an extremely distressing rise in violence in the last several years. Despite a large amount of data suggesting that a sizeable portion of the violent crime in the country is committed by people with immigrant backgrounds, authorities have seemingly refused to acknowledge the strong correlation between Sweden's immigration policies since 2015, and the rise in violent crime.
