The Trump campaign announced on Tuesday that former Democrat and Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard, a former progressive Democrat, had been named to Trump's transition team.
Brian Hughes, Trump’s senior advisor, said in a statement that President Trump is pleased to have recruited Robert F. Kennedy and Tulsi Gabbard to the Trump/Vance Transition Team. “We look forward to having their powerful voices on the team as we work to restore America’s greatness.”
It is evident that Trump is wholeheartedly dedicated to assembling his transitional team, which reflects his strength and confidence. By naming Kennedy and Gabbard, he will face a lot of criticism from the Democratic establishment. However, it demonstrates that he is willing to listen to and take advice from two former Democratic presidential candidates who know the ins and outs of the Democratic Party—two people whom the Harris/Biden administration has tried very hard to marginalize and eventually push out. This should worry the Democrats.
