The Trump campaign announced on Tuesday that former Democrat and Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard, a former progressive Democrat, had been named to Trump's transition team.
Brian Hughes, Trump’s senior advisor, said in a statement that President Trump is pleased to have recruited Robert F. Kennedy and Tulsi Gabbard to the Trump/Vance Transition Team. “We look forward to having their powerful voices on the team as we work to restore America’s greatness.”
Kennedy and Gabbard will recommend policies and individuals for a second Trump administration as honorary co-chairs of the presidential transition team. In an interview on X that aired on Monday, Kennedy briefly discussed his transition position with Tucker Carlson.
