A former janitor opened fire with an automatic weapon at the Sanski Most Gymnasium - a secondary school in north west Bosnia on Wednesday, killing three. The school dean, secretary, and English instructor died in the attack.
The shooter used a "military weapon, an automatic rifle" in the attack that took place around 10 am local time. The shooter is in serious condition after trying to kill himself. A hospital near Banja Luka is treating the shooter, according to the police.
No students were present at the time of the shooting as schools in Bosnia are closed for the summer holiday. Teachers were convening to make preparations for the upcoming school year.
