• Alice Guo, a former mayor of a Philippine town who was accused of spying for China, may reportedly have fled the southeast Asian nation in July, evidence suggests.

• Evidence presented before the Philippines Senate on Monday suggested the former mayor of Bamban town left for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on July 18.

• Senator Risa Hontiveros presented Guo's immigration entry card as proof and said Guo may have also travelled further to Singapore to meet her parents and brother.
