The Spin

Despite Fox News' best attempts on Wednesday to get an outright answer from Vance, the Republican VP nominee has so far refused to confirm his attendance on Oct. 1. Despite Walz's agreementhas been public with his commitment to the debate but, for now, there is no guarantee anything will come of CBS's debate offer.

Vance is ready for a debate as long as the conditions are properly examinedassessed. While Democrats have shown their intent to only debate after early voting has already begun, Vance is focused on ensuring that CBS does not attempt to skew the odds in Waltz's favor.
