The Facts

• An attacker killed two children and left nine others injured after attacking them with a knife at a dance workshop in Southport, England, Monday morning local time. Six of the injured children are in "critical condition."

• A 17-year-old suspect has been arrested. Investigators say the incident is currently not being treated as an act of terrorism.A 17-year-old suspect has been arrested. He reportedly can not be named for legal reasons and moved to Southport with his Rwandan parents when he was six years of age. The incident is not being treated as an actor of terrorism by investigators.

• Police also said the suspect, who came from the village of Banks outside of Southport, has been taken into custody and charged with murder and attempted murder.
