Megyn Kelly Says Kamala Harris 'Slept Her Way' Into Politics

US Rep. Andy Ogles (R-Tenn.) on Tuesday announced a second impeachment resolution against VP Kamala Harris, who's currently the leading candidate to replace Pres. Joe Biden as the Democratic presidential nominee following his decision to step aside.

Ogles' first filings came in June 2023 and accused Harris of failing to execute her duties and responsibilities by "refus[ing]" to enforce existing immigration laws and opening the Southern border. The filing was introduced but never acted upon.

Ogles' new filing adds a second article claiming Harris has "knowingly misled the American people" about Biden's "physical and cognitive well-being."

Ogles also urged Harris to invoke the 25th Amendment to remove Biden from office. The Amendment authorizes the vice president and Cabinet to remove the president if he is determined not to be fit for office.

Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY), the Republican Conference Chair, could potentially call a floor vote, but even an impeachment passed in the House, with its narrow GOP majority, is unlikely to pass in the Democrat-led Senate.

Since Harris emerged as the favorite to replace Biden on the Democratic ticket, Republicans have been focusing their campaign against her on what they claim are her failures to stem issues around the amount of migrants entering the US illegally.
