There is only one man responsible for these unprecedented threats towards law enforcement officers: Donald Trump himself. Trump has made baseless and inflammatory claims about the legal system that lead to his supporters making violent threats in droves. It is only a matter of time before Trump's hateful rhetoric leads to someone being seriously hurt, as he is either unaware or tacitly approving of political violence against his perceived enemies.

While violence is never OK, it is clear that the public sees through the ruse of "judicial independence" in this country, as Trump faces the most sophisticated case of political persecution in this country's history. While Hunter Biden will likely get a sweetheart deal, Trump is up against the might of a justice system that is openly biased against him. There would not be this anger against the FBI if they did their job and applied the law equally.
