Rudy Giuliani, ex-lawyer of former Pres. Donald Trump, Friday became the last of 17 defendants to be served with a notice to appear in court as part of the Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes' case related to alleged election interference in the 2020 presidential election.

It's ironic that as a prosecutor and mayor Giuliani built his reputation on creating a public spectacle around criminal defendants — and now he's a criminal defendant creating a spectacle around himself. He could've avoided this by refraining from purposely avoiding the authorities. Instead he's been served and embarrassed, with more to come as this case unfolds.
The Arizona AG's office's attempt to embarrass Giuliani and ruin his birthday party failed. He had an incredible time on his big night and the serving of his indictment was nothing but a minor distraction. Giuliani looks forward to being vindicated as the case plays out.
