Will Trump Be Criminally Convicted in the Hush Money Case?

Rudy Giuliani, ex-lawyer of former Pres. Donald Trump, Friday became the last of 17 defendants to be served with a notice to appear in court as part of the Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes' case related to alleged election interference in the 2020 presidential election.

Giuliani's name had previously been withheld because he had not been served, as agents from Mayes' office spent two days in New York City while unable to locate that city's former mayor.

But after Giuliani posted to X on Friday a photo of him at his birthday party and a message saying that if the authorities can't find him the charges must be dropped, Giuliani was served while leaving the party in Florida. Mayes' post to X later Friday said, "Nobody is above the law."

Giuliani and the other defendants in the Arizona indictment are accused of interfering with "the lawful transfer of the presidency" in an effort to keep Trump in office "against the will of Arizona voters."

This is the latest legal issue for Giuliani stemming from his time as Trump's lawyer, as he was ordered to pay a hefty defamation judgment to two former Georgia election officials, faces 13 charges in a Georgia election subversion case and is being sued for defamation by two voting technology companies.
