Kim Ki Nam, North Korea's (DPRK) former chief propagandist, has reportedly died at the age of 94 due to old age and "multiple organ dysfunction" he'd been treated for since 2022. Despite the same last name, he is not a member of the Kim dynasty family.
Since the days of Kim Il Sung, the repressive state of North Korea has maintained control over its people largely thanks to its powerful propaganda machine. The only reason this tyrannical family has retained its power is by brainwashing its people into thinking they're Gods and that their society is linked to the first people of the world. The way they've been able to trick a starving population into thinking their leaders are good is unfathomable.
North Korea is nothing compared to the US, which has a monopoly on propaganda. In its pursuit of global hegemony, the US Military has infiltrated the entire world through its manipulation of movies, television, and now social media, effectively brainwashing other populations into accepting its interventionist agenda. Thanks to these media schemes, Washington has been able to invade the world while making itself out to be the good guy.
