UK Trade & Business Commission
The UK Trade & Business Commission is a cross-party, cross-industry advisory body established in 2021 to lead the most extensive consultation of UK businesses since Brexit, gathering evidence from MPs, economists, and leaders to identify challenges and propose solutions for boosting trade, growth, and government policy. In 2023 the Commission released its landmark report Trading Our Way to Prosperity, featuring 114 actionable recommendations that aim to strengthen UK trade deals, reduce friction with partners like the EU, and guide post-Brexit economic strategy.
