The U.S. Supreme Court (SCOTUS) heard more than three hours of oral arguments Tuesday in two cases challenging state laws that bar transgender athletes from competing on school sports teams matching their gender identity. The cases, Little v. Hecox and West Virginia v. B.P.J., were brought by Lindsay Hecox, a transgender college student in Idaho, and Becky Pepper-Jackson, a transgender high school student in West Virginia.
