The UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD) is an intergovernmental agency within the United Nations Secretariat. Responsible for promoting developing countries' interests in international trade, it has 195 member states and reports to the General Assembly, as well as the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
