Therese Poletti is an American journalist who served for roughly 17 years as the widely-read tech columnist behind the Tech Tales column at MarketWatch, where she analyzed Silicon Valley, big tech trends, and market-moving tech news. She began her career covering business and technology for the San Jose Mercury News and Reuters, and holds degrees in Comparative Literature from Santa Clara University and Journalism from Columbia University’s Graduate School.
