Sali Berisha

Sali Berisha served as Prime Minister of Albania from 2005 to 2013 and as President of Albania from 1992 to 1997, being one of the first leaders to emerge after the fall of communism in Albania. He is the chairman of the Democratic Party of Albania and remains an active figure in Albanian politics despite being designated non grata by the United States in 2021 for alleged corruption.
