Paul Biya

Paul Biya has served as President of Cameroon since 1982, making him one of the world's longest-serving heads of state. Born in 1933, the former civil servant became prime minister in 1975 before ascending to the presidency. His four-decade rule has been marked by constitutional changes extending presidential terms and ongoing conflicts in anglophone regions.
