Muammar Gaddafi

Muammar Gaddafi was the authoritarian leader of Libya from 1969 to 2011, who came to power through a military coup and ruled under his political philosophy outlined in The Green Book. He was killed during the 2011 Libyan Civil War after NATO-backed rebel forces overthrew his government.
