Lip-Bu Tan
Lip-Bu Tan, born in 1959 in Muar Malaysia, is an American business executive and venture capitalist. He founded Walden International in 1987 a firm investing in semiconductors AI software and tech startups across Asia and the US. He served as CEO of Cadence Design Systems from 2009 to 2021 significantly growing revenue and shareholder value. Since March 2025 he has been CEO of Intel Corporation. He is chairman of Walden International and founding managing partner of Walden Catalyst Ventures and Celesta Capital. His work has supported creation of numerous companies jobs and major market value in technology.
