Laurent Saint-Cyr

Laurent Saint-Cyr is a Haitian politician and businessman currently serving as the 4th Chairman of the Transitional Presidential Council of Haiti since Aug. 7 2025. Before joining the Transitional Presidential Council formed in April 2024, Saint-Cyr served as a member of the country’s High Council of Transition, charged with promoting a national dialogue. He has served as president of multiple business groups, including the American Chamber of Commerce in Haiti and the country’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and as an executive director and a member of the board at Alternative Insurance Company.
