Kash Patel

Kash Patel is an American lawyer and politician currently serving as the ninth director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and as the acting director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) since 2025. He has previously served in key national security roles under the Trump administration, including as chief of staff to the acting secretary of defense.
