Jared Isaacman

Jared Isaacman is an American entrepreneur and astronaut who founded payment processing company Shift4 Payments in 1999. He commanded the all-civilian Inspiration4 mission in 2021 and the Polaris Dawn mission in September 2024, becoming the first private citizen to conduct a spacewalk. President-elect Donald Trump nominated him as NASA administrator in December 2024 and November 2025.
