Hun Manet

Hun Manet is a Cambodian politician and former general who succeeded his father, Hun Sen, as Prime Minister in August 2023 following an uncontested parliamentary election. A West Point graduate with an MA in economics from NYU and a PhD from the University of Bristol, he previously served as Deputy Commander‑in‑Chief of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces and now leads a government promoting generational transition and economic reforms under a long‑term strategic plan.
