David Zaslav

David Zaslav is an American media executive born on January 15, 1960, in Brooklyn, New York, who serves as CEO and President of Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD). He earned a B.S. from Binghamton University and a J.D. with honors from Boston University School of Law in 1985, starting his career as an attorney before transitioning to media. Zaslav became CEO of Discovery, Inc. in 2006, leading the company's 2008 public offering and orchestrating the landmark $43 billion merger with WarnerMedia in April 2022, during which he launched Max streaming service in March 2023 as a combined offering of HBO Max and Discovery+ libraries.
