Brian Schatz

Brian Schatz is a Democratic U.S. Senator from Hawaii, serving since 2012 when he was appointed to fill Daniel Inouye's seat. Born in 1972, he previously served in the Hawaii House of Representatives and as Hawaii's lieutenant governor. Schatz chairs the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Transportation and sits on the Commerce and Indian Affairs committees.
