Bob Blackman

Bob Blackman is a British Conservative politician who has represented Harrow East since his election in 2010, formerly serving on the London Assembly and Brent Council; in July 2024, he became Chair of the influential 1922 Committee and later the Backbench Business Committee. A former BT manager and lifelong Tottenham supporter, Blackman has successfully championed policy initiatives such as the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017 and is a vocal advocate for the Indian diaspora in the UK, honored with a CBE in 2023 for his political and public service.
