Bart De Wever

Bart De Wever (born 1970) is a Belgian politician serving as mayor of Antwerp since 2013 and president of the New Flemish Alliance (N-VA) since 2004. In 2024, he was appointed formateur to lead coalition negotiations following federal elections, working to form Belgium's next government. He advocates Flemish nationalism and greater regional autonomy within Belgium.
