Alexei Navalny

Alexei Navalny was a Russian opposition leader, anti-corruption activist, and politician who became the most prominent critic of President Vladimir Putin and the Russian government. He founded the Anti-Corruption Foundation and organized nationwide protests against corruption before being imprisoned and dying in a Russian penal colony in February 2024.
