Carl Bernstein is an investigative journalist and author best known for his Watergate reporting with Bob Woodward at The Washington Post in the 1970s, which led to President Richard Nixon's resignation. He has since worked as a political analyst for CNN and authored several books on politics and journalism. Bernstein continues to comment on press freedom and democratic institutions.
