Peterson Institute for International Economics
The Peterson Institute for International Economics (PIIE) is a Washington-based American think tank founded in 1981 by C. Fred Bergsten. Since 2013, it has been led by Adam S. Posen. PIIE conducts research, provides policy recommendations and publishes papers on topics related to the US economy and international economics.
