Sanjay Malhotra

Sanjay Malhotra is India's Revenue Secretary and former Finance Secretary who was appointed as the 26th Governor of the Reserve Bank of India in December 2024, succeeding Shaktikanta Das. The 1990-batch Indian Administrative Service officer previously served as Secretary in the Department of Financial Services and has extensive experience in economic policy and financial sector reforms.
