David Ison

David Ison serves as dean and president of the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine in New York City, appointed in 2017. The Episcopal priest previously served as bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Rochester from 2014 to 2017. He holds degrees from Yale Divinity School and has focused on interfaith dialogue, social justice, and cathedral restoration efforts.
