Henry Cuellar

Henry Cuellar is an American lawyer and politician who has represented Texas's 28th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives since 2005. Before that, he served in the Texas House of Representatives for 14 years (1987-2001) and briefly held the position of Texas Secretary of State in 2001, making him the most recent Democrat to hold a statewide office in Texas as of 2024.
