Carly Koppes

Carly Koppes is the Weld County Clerk and Recorder in Colorado, serving since 2019. A Republican, she gained national attention in 2024 for refusing to comply with a Colorado Supreme Court ruling that temporarily removed Donald Trump from the state's primary ballot, citing her oath to uphold the U.S. Constitution. She was reelected in 2022.
