Larry Diamond

Larry Diamond is a senior fellow at the Hoover Institution and the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies at Stanford University, where he has taught since 1985. A leading scholar on democracy and governance, he co-founded and edits the Journal of Democracy and has authored numerous books on democratic development, authoritarianism, and U.S. foreign policy.
