Elizabeth Goitein

Elizabeth Goitein is co-director of the Brennan Center for Justice's Liberty and National Security Program at New York University School of Law. A leading expert on presidential emergency powers, surveillance law, and civil liberties, she has testified before Congress and authored influential reports on executive authority. She previously served as counsel to Sen. Patrick Leahy on the Senate Judiciary Committee.
