Institute for Responsive Government

Institute for Responsive Government is a nonpartisan nonprofit launched in June 2022 by the Center for Secure and Modern Elections and the Center for Tech and Civic Life, aimed at designing practical, evidence-based policy reforms to make government services—particularly voting processes—more efficient, user-centered, and responsive to citizens’ needs. It works by partnering with experienced election administrators, UX design experts, and policymakers to advocate for accessible reforms like automatic voter registration, streamlined benefit systems, and improved interagency coordination across local, state, and federal levels.
