In a press release on Monday, Snapchat announced it has blocked or disabled 415,000 accounts in Australia identified as belonging to users under 16 as of the end of January, two months after the country's Social Media Minimum Age (SMMA) law for under-16s took effect on Dec. 10. The company, however, noted the law leaves "significant gaps" in enforcement.
