Researchers from Australia and Indonesia recently discovered a hand stencil in the Liang Metanduno cave on Muna Island in Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia, dating back at least 67,800 years. The artwork is believed to have been created by blowing pigment over a hand pressed against the cave wall.
