• The demonstrators sat on the wet pavement with Palestinian flags and unfurled a banner reading 'Don't celebrate genocide! Arms embargo now,' specifically targeting the Ronald McDonald balloon due to McDonald's Israel's previous support of Israeli forces.

• The 98th annual parade featured 17 giant balloons, 22 floats, 15 novelty inflatables, 11 marching bands, 700 clowns, and numerous celebrity performances, drawing massive crowds despite the rainy weather.
